Welcome to MailConnector. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our
Gmail productivity extension, including any associated websites, APIs, and services
(collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these
Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the MailConnector Service, you represent that:
- You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
- You are at least 18 years of age or have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
in your jurisdiction.
- If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you have the authority to bind
that organization to these Terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not access or use our Service.
2. Definitions
"Service"
Refers to the MailConnector Gmail extension, including all
features, functionalities, and services provided through MailConnector's applications,
websites, and APIs.
"User" or "You"
Any individual or entity that accesses or uses the
MailConnector Service.
"Account"
The personal account created through Google OAuth
authentication that allows you to access and use the MailConnector Service.
"Subscription"
A paid agreement that grants access to premium features of
the Service according to the terms of the selected plan.
"Content"
All information, data, text, messages, software, images, and
materials processed, transmitted, or stored by or through the Service.
3. Account Registration and Security
3.1 Google Account Authentication
To use MailConnector, you must authenticate through Google OAuth, granting us specific
permissions to access your Gmail data. By registering, you:
- Authorize MailConnector to access your Gmail account with the scopes specified during
authentication
- Confirm that all information you provide is accurate and complete
- Are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Google account credentials
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:
- Immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of
security
- Ensure that you exit from your account at the end of each session when accessing the Service
on shared devices
- Use reasonable efforts to prevent unauthorized access to your account
Important Security
Notice
We will never ask for your Google password directly. All authentication is handled securely
through Google's OAuth system. Be cautious of phishing attempts claiming to be from
MailConnector.
4. Subscription Plans and Payments
4.1 Subscription Options
MailConnector offers various subscription tiers with different features and limitations:

4.2 Payment Terms
- All payments are processed securely through Stripe, our third-party payment processor
- Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the plan
selected
- Prices are subject to change with notice provided at least 30 days before the change takes
effect
- If we are unable to process your payment, your subscription may be suspended until payment
is received
4.3 Cancellation and Refunds
- You may cancel your subscription at any time by accessing your account settings or
contacting customer support
- Cancellations will take effect at the end of the current billing period
- We do not provide refunds for partial subscription periods, except as required by law
- Trial periods, if offered, will automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless canceled
before the trial ends
Plan Changes
When upgrading to a higher-tier plan, your new features will be available immediately, and
we'll prorate your billing. When downgrading, changes will take effect at the beginning of
your next billing cycle.
5. Service Usage and Limitations
5.1 Permitted Use
Subject to these Terms, MailConnector grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable
license to:
- Access and use the features and functionalities of the Service
- Install and use the MailConnector extension with your authorized Google account
- Connect the Service with authorized third-party CRM systems within the limits of your
subscription plan
5.2 Usage Restrictions
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or
international law
- License, sell, rent, lease, transfer, assign, distribute, or otherwise commercially exploit
the Service
- Modify, adapt, translate, or reverse engineer any portion of the Service
- Remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices from the Service
- Use the Service in any manner that could disable, overburden, damage, or impair our servers
or networks
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, user accounts, or computer systems
- Use the Service to harvest or collect email addresses or personal information
- Use the Service to send unsolicited communications or spam
5.3 API and Rate Limits
Use of the MailConnector API and service is subject to rate limiting to ensure fair usage and
system stability:
- Free accounts are limited to 100 API requests per hour and 1,000 requests per day
- Paid accounts have higher limits based on their subscription tier
- Excessive usage may result in temporary throttling or suspension of service
6. Data Processing and CRM Integration
6.1 Gmail Data Processing
MailConnector processes email data to provide its services. By using the Service, you acknowledge
and agree that:
- The Service will scan your emails to identify tracking opportunities and provide
functionality
- We analyze email content to create tasks and organize communications
- All data processing is performed in accordance with our Privacy Policy
6.2 CRM Integration
When you connect MailConnector to third-party CRM systems like GoHighLevel:
- You authorize MailConnector to exchange data between your Gmail account and the connected
CRM
- You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights to share data with these
third-party services
- The connected CRM's own terms of service and privacy policy will apply to data transferred
to their systems
- MailConnector is not responsible for the practices of third-party CRM providers once data is
transferred

When using CRM integrations, you're subject to the terms and privacy policies of those
third-party services. We recommend reviewing their terms before connecting your accounts.
7. Data Security and Privacy
Your privacy and data security are important to us. Please refer to our Privacy
Policy for detailed information about how we collect, use, and protect your data.
7.1 Security Measures
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:
- Industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest
- Regular security assessments and vulnerability testing
- Strict access controls and authentication requirements
- Automated monitoring for unusual or unauthorized activities
7.2 Data Retention

- Account data is retained as long as you maintain an active account
- Email tracking data is retained according to your subscription plan
- Upon account deletion, we delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, except as required

8. Intellectual Property Rights
8.1 MailConnector Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service (excluding content provided by users) are
and will remain the exclusive property of MailConnector and its licensors. The Service is
protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Nothing in these Terms gives you a right to
use the MailConnector name, trademarks, logos, domain names, or other distinctive brand
features.
8.2 User Feedback
If you provide us with any feedback or suggestions regarding the Service, you hereby assign to
MailConnector all rights in such feedback and agree that MailConnector shall have the right to
use such feedback in any manner it deems appropriate without any obligation to you.
9. Termination
9.1 Termination by You
You may terminate these Terms at any time by:
- Discontinuing use of the Service
- Uninstalling the MailConnector extension
- Revoking MailConnector's access to your Google account
- Canceling your subscription (if applicable)
9.2 Termination by MailConnector
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or
liability, for any reason including, but not limited to:
- Violation of these Terms
- Engaging in prohibited activities
- Non-payment of subscription fees
- Upon request by law enforcement or other government agencies
- Unexpected technical issues or security concerns
9.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Service will immediately cease
- MailConnector may delete your account and associated data
- Any provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive
10. Disclaimers and Limitations
10.1 No Warranty
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. MAILCONNECTOR EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS
ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF
MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
10.2 Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL MAILCONNECTOR, ITS
AFFILIATES, OR ITS LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL,
CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS,
GOODWILL, USE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF OR
INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
10.3 Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MailConnector and its officers, directors,
employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses,
including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to
or use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
11. General Legal Terms
11.1 Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall be
governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to
its conflict of law principles.
11.2 Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through the
following process:
- Informal negotiation: Parties will attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting
each other directly
- Mediation: If informal negotiation fails, the dispute will be submitted to non-binding
mediation
- Arbitration: If mediation fails, the dispute will be resolved through binding arbitration
conducted in the United Kingdom
11.3 Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will
provide notice through the Service or by other means. Your continued use of the Service after
the changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11.4 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be
limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the Terms will otherwise remain in
full force and effect.
